What is AIA* and what is an
AIA* contract document?
AIA* stands for the American
Institute of Architects. AIA* has developed a number of original
Contract Documents that you can buy from any of the AIA* Component Full-Service Document Distributors. The AIA* Contract Documents comprise over 80 forms and contracts that define contractual relationships and terms involved in your design and construction projects. Prepared by the AIA* with the consensus of contractors, attorneys, architects, and engineers, the Documents have been finely tuned during their more than 100 year history. As a result, these comprehensive contracts and forms have withstood numerous court decisions and are now widely recognized as the industry standard.
The Quantum Contract Manager is a PC program that helps you fill out the
original AIA* Contract Documents instead of using a typewriter and a calculator. You buy the
documents, then use the program to enter
the data, do calculations, then print onto the original AIA* Contract Documents. The program currently
supports the most frequently used documents, more documents will be added as required.

do I get the original AIA* Contract Documents to print on?
The contract documents supported are from the American
Institute of Architects (AIA*). You enter and store the data in the Quantum
Contract Manager, and you can easily print to as many of the contract documents as you require. You must purchase original AIA*
Contract Documents from any AIA* Component Full-Service Document Distributor that sells the AIA*
Contract Documents, including the distributors
